Status: Amentum SPEO is recruiting for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections in the Republic of Armenia. LTOs have been selected and have deployed. STOs have been selected and are pending deployment. Status: The second cohort of NEW STOs will likely be selected in August. If you are interested in deploying as a first time Short-Term Observer (STO) with Amentum SPEO, please use vacancy number 2026NewSTO.NEW STOs are applicants that have NOT attended a NEW STO interest meeting with Amentum via Teams invite; have not been contacted to complete New STO documentation/forms; and have NOT deployed with Amentum SPEO on any previous Election missions. Minimum Qualifications for Short-Term Observers (STOs) include: Prior experience observing or administering elections, which may include working or volunteering in a polling station as either an observer or administrator. Proven ability to demonstrate cultural understanding and sensitivity and to exercise sound, independent judgment in politically sensitive environments. Excellent health. Ability to work in a stressful environment under field conditions, including long hours over extended periods (day and night). Freedom from concurrent commitments that could produce conflict of interest with the election observation mission. Preparedness to read briefing materials, understand procedural instructions and complete election observation forms accurately.
